hello friends welcome back to she's inher apron a'right all this month ofSeptember I'm taking you along on achallenge it's called four weeks to fillyour freezer challenge and last week westarted week one which was breakfastfreezer meals I have a link down belowfor you to go check that out so thisweek is week two and we are doing lunchfreezer meals okay I'm gonna start onsome bagel pizzas or Bagel Biteswhatever you want to call them okayso go grab yourselves some mini bagelstake them apart I've got two bakingsheets here with parchment paper becausethese are gonna go in my big freezer ifyou don't have a big freezer put them onplates and do them in sections becausewhen they're done you're gonna freezethem for a little bit so that way youcould back them up alright I am gonnaget some help where I can get it so I amusing the Walmart great value pizzasauce and then I have some frozen I keepshaking and breaking up the cheese somemozzarella cheese that big back is fromCostco and the kids love pepperoni soyou could do the whole slices on hereand break them up or you can get theminis and make it easier we're gonna dothis today now you can add onionspeppers mushrooms however you like yourpizza do it on these but my kids lovepepperoni and these are basically forthem so I'm going to do cheese andpepperoni[Music][Music]so I made sure that I wrote on my bagwhat this is and today's date I forgot abottom in my freezerit's like many moons later today butthat's ok ok so I I could throw them allin here but I'm afraid like they'llbreak apart and everything will loosenI'm gonna try to fit four in one ofthese quart size bags then put them in agallon bag now pepperoni's gonna falloff like things are gonna start to falloff that's normal and that's whathappens on frozen pizza to that you getat the store it's all good put it rightback on when you go to cook now if youhave a food saver I do have a food saverbut I'm not whipping it out for thisbecause the kids are gonna go into thefreezer and grab these and I don't wantto take out the Machine and seal it upall the time these are gonna go fast areyou kidding oh my word okay so I'm gonnado it like this so it stays together andI could end up putting them all in onebag it's the thought that came to myhead so like this okay you don't evenneed to thaw these out when you want tomake them just stick them on your pizzarack and just let them cook 375 degreesfor 15 to 20 minutes hey friends I'vegot two bags two gallon ziplock bagswith three packages each of the bagelsandwiches so this will just hold themin store and better so I've been givingthe air out as best as I could but theseseriously aren't gonna last long likeare you kidding me my kids love pizza soalright this is done so when you'reready to eat them just take them out ofthe freezer put them on a sheet to bakeup I sprinkled mine with a little bit ofbasil seasoning and they're gonna go inthe oven at 375 degrees for 15 to 20minutesI have cooked some white rice in theinsta pot it's all ready to goplenty for these burritos my skillet iswarmed up now we're going to brown theground beef we're gonna let this brownup and then we're gonna drain it andthen add the taco seasoning you can usea packet of taco seasoning I have thisbig guy here from Costco so I'm going touse this and then put the amount ofwater that it's required on the back ofthe packet okay while it's doing thislet's get the refried bean mixture allput together so to a bowl you're gonnaadd your can of refried beans all rightI'm gonna cover this and heat this up inthe microwave so now I'm going to grateup some pepper jack cheese okay myrefried beans are ready I have fourounces of shredded pepper jack cheeseand now I just need about a tablespoonof chopped fresh cilantroright in my refried bean Bowl I'm gonnaadd the cilantro and a cup of the riceand then I'm gonna also add a tablespoonof lime juice I don't have any freshlime so I'm just going to use this okaywe're gonna mix this together smells sogoodso I have some burrito style flourtortillas and everyone says warm up yourtortilla I I I don't I know but theseare super soft super soft and the bagsaid super soft so yeah what we're gonnado is put like two tablespoons of therefried bean mixture down okay you'regonna sprinkle some cheese bean mixturethere's one I think I could put a littlebit more mixture in I just don't makeburritos very often I never know what todoso tell me below if you make a burritowhat do you like to put in yours becauseI really don't make burritos it'ssomething that I've always wanted to doand so I'm glad that I'm taking theopportunity now to do it because myfamily loves burritos Derek lovesburritos Jonah loves burritos I don'tknow why I was so intimidated by thisthis is so easy but what do you put inyours I'm really curious and I'vealready ate one before I started filmingme folding them you guys this isdelicious okay that mixture if I did twopounds of the taco seasoning the recipecalls for a pound and I used up all thefilling and everything so this recipereally gives you the whole bag of likeeight count of the burritos so we'regonna wrap these up so a lot of peoplewill wrap their burritos in aluminumfoil I can't get myself to do that Idon't know why but it freaks me outlittle pet peeve I don't know why so Iam gonna wrap it in this saran wrap andthen put them in the ziplock bag andthen when you go to heat it wrap uh youcould do either a very damp paper towelbut wrap it and you can place it on inthe microwave I don't know three to fourminutes you're gonna have to play withit because everybody's microwave isdifferent these will last in yourfreezer for a month this won't even lastin my freezer a month are you kidding meokay just wrote on my bag beef beanburritosnow some schools have microwaves so mykids can take food and microwave it up I[Applause]don't think my kids it's Elementary doesbut Derek Jonah's school does he's gonnalove these all right there we have itbeef bean burritos going in the freezerso I have extra taco meatI can make more burritos I have morerefried beans cans of refried beans Icould shred up some Chloe Jack them outof the pepper jack but I'm done I'mtired so I am just gonna write on thisfreezer bag taco meat and we can maketacos or whatever whatever laterand this is one thing to do when you'recooking for your family when you do alot of your leftovers just get tossed Iknow like sometimes we're all forleftovers and there's times we're justnot feeling it just let it cool and putit in freezer bags and just throw it inyour freezer I'm going to do the samething with my rice here we go I'm gonnaget that in my freezer as well to startthese turnovers we're going to dice upan onion I have some carrot sticksalready peeled and all of that I havefresh carrots but I have some of thesethat we bought for her family dinner theother day I'm gonna use these and savesome time yeppeel your carrot and just slice it thinslices and we're gonna dice up one stockcelery all right we got our veggiesready we're gonna take 1/3 cup butterand melt it in the skillet okay asthat's melting I'm gonna add in myveggies we're gonna cook these for about4 to 5 minutes we're gonna stir thisoccasionally okay then we're gonna add1/3 cup flour mix it in really goodwe're gonna cook and stir this for aminuteokay we're going to whisk in somechicken broth 3/4 cup okay in a cup ofhalf-and-half okay what's that good sowe don't get it clumpy with the flourokay you're gonna take 2 ounces of creamcheese softened we're gonna add it inhere so we're gonna cook this until itbubbles and thicken so it's pretty thickright now but for about 1 to 2 minutesI'm gonna break up that cream cheese aswe do it let's add some seasonings inwe're gonna add 1/2 a teaspoon of salt1/4 teaspoon of pepper 1/2 a teaspoon ofgarlic powder and I'm crushing up 1/4 ofteaspoon of thyme okay we're gonna add 2cups of diced chicken in I took the easyroute and grabbed this bad boy and yeahI'm a cheater with in it seasonedrotisserie seasoned so yeah all rightI'm gonna mix in my chicken and if it'sstill a little too thick I could add alittle more chicken broth to this so mycamera turned off who does that whenit's on for a while even recording butafter the chicken I added 3/4 cup offrozen peas and stirred that in thereand it tastes amazingturn it off the heat and let's get ourpie crusts ready floured my countertop alittle just to help me I'm using alreadybought pie crust it's unfrozen it'spliable now so what we want to do isstretch this out more and my rolling pingot lost in the move I'm wondering if Igot rid of it because it was kind ofbroken I don't remember so I need arolling pin so that is going on my listof things I need to get I'm just gonnaroll it out with this cup and it seemsto be doing the trickgot to do what you gotta do all right Iwant to get at least the recipe saysfive to six inches across circle so thisbowl is exactly that so there's one twothree and I'm not going to throw awaythe scraps because I could roll thoseout and make more in a bowl we're goingto add a tablespoon of milk and eggwhite and we're gonna whisk thistogether so while we assemble these justpre-heat your oven to 400 degrees and Iwas able to get 10 and the recipe saysit makes 10 I was able to roll out thedough enough to get 10 the recipe justsays put what you think can fit in sothat's what I'm gonna do so I'm gonnajust grab a spoon and do this becauseyou want to be able to fold it over okaywe're gonna use our finger and dip it inthe egg wash and we're gonna put it allaround the edges because this is gonnahelp it sealokayI'm gonna fold this overall right we're gonna grab our fork andseal it togetherthere we go I'm gonna make some more andthen I'll show you how we bake it up[Music]all right so I'm gonna take the leftoveregg wash and brush these with it this isso good this isn't hot I mean the yes isa yummy quick lunch that you could bringto work and everything but honestly ifyour kids are heading out to a practiceand they want something quick to takewith them on the road to eat you coulddo this all right your ovens alreadypreheated to 400 degrees so we're gonnacook these for 15 to 17 minutes oncethese are cooled wrap them up in saranwrap throw them into a gallon ziplockfreezer bag get all the air out and tossit in your freezer and fYI these were ahit with the kids they had some afterschool and they are in love okay nextwe're gonna make sandwiches this is soeasy I've shared this before but I don'tmake too much I try to only make liketwo weeks worth of sandwiches because Idon't want it to get freezer burn sowe're gonna start with PB&J and thenwe'll do ham it's important to putpeanut butter on both sides of the breadthis prevents it from getting soggy fromthe jelly I already can hear some of youlike oh my gosh like you need two freesandwiches like how long does it takeyou to make a sim like I've read yourcomments like seriously you guys this iseasy because I don't have to get upevery day and whip out this stuff we'rebusy I don't have time for this I'm sureyou don't either this is just fast andconvenient you can hurry and grabsandwiches out of the freezer for goingto the park or anything this just justmakes it quick and the kids can grabtheir own lunch in the morning go in thefreezer grab their sandwich and then gopack the rest of their lunch and be ontheir way this is all about conveniencein saving timeif you don't like this that's okay we doso I don't go longer than a couple ofweeks in my freezer you can't take thecrusts off if you want like the thesecrusts will be hard when they come outthat's not a big deal but that this isthe trick to these is putting peanutbutter on both sides so we don't get thebread soggy and believe me when you arenot feeling well and you've got to getyour kids going out the door knowingthat you have something already made inyour freezer for them it is socomforting and if you're a working mamaoutside the home and you're gettingyourself ready alongside your kidstrying to get them out the door andyourself you'll be so happy that youhave this on hand all right today I amjust using grape jelly Boston will bebummed that it's not strawberry but umthis is what I got right now now I havenoticed that when making these I get thebest quality bread because the breadholds up really good in the freezer Ihave done the cheap bread and no goodnow a lot of you have asked if I done myhomemade bread and I have not my breadis really soft and I don't know I don'tthink it's gonna hold up well and I'vebeen meaning to just make a sandwich andthrow it in the freezer but I haven'tyet so I just do it this way I am goingto end up cutting these in trianglesthat way they know that the sandwich inthe freezer is peanut burn jellythey know the drill so I know I'll besharing with you how I cut the othersandwiches to know which ones are whichso I'm putting them in regular sandwichbaggies and then putting them in agallon ziplock freezer burn like freezerback so for peanut butter and jelly wecut them into trianglesthey know in the freezer that thesesandwiches are peanut butter and jellyjust saves me time from having to writeon all the bags what the sandwiches arewhoo now I want a peanut butter andjelly sandwich okayso I'm gonna put them in these justregular sandwich baggies and then I'mgoing to put them in a freezer ziplocbag make sure you get the air out reallygood and this is why I only do about twoweeks worth because the longer they'rein there they're at risk of freezer burnso I try not to go overboard with thesandwiches so you can take this out thenight before if you want but you reallydon't have to like if you take it out inthe morning set it out and then when yougo make your lunch just throw it in yourlunch and then by the time they're readyto eat it at school their sandwichesthought out it's great all right so onthis bag I'm gonna write PB&J today aswell I'm not gonna put today's datebecause I want to keep reusing this bagevery time I made them so all rightthere we gooh it's smeared oh well you could stillsee all right we have peanut butter andjelly sandwiches go into the freezerokay we're gonna make the ham sandwichesthey don't want cheese in it this timethey go through like moments where theywant cheese and this right now is a nocheese moment for them I bought a lot ofthis ham from Costco in hopes to makeall these but we've been going itthrough so fast before I could make thisvideo so I'm gonna use up what's left ofthis ham this ham is so good and then Ijust have this lunch medium here allright so with making your ham sandwichesor ham or cheese sandwiches whatever youdon't want to put your mayo on the breadnope it is definitely gonna get soggy sowhat you'll do is you'llwith your meets my kids are very simplethere you just like ham I'm try puttingroast beef in it and other stuff nowthey just like him okayso you stop all that ham now we're gonnause this ham so now I'm gonna putmayonnaise in it but I'm not usingmayonnaisewe are Miracle Whip people so okay someof us so we put this in the middle andthen your mustard and then put yoursandwiches together and then we'll cutthem I have kids that love the mustardand I have one child that does not I'llshow you what I do in this situation sothen just close up your sandwich so mykids know that the ones that aren't cutthey're just a normal like this thatmeans man sandwich man and it hasmustard em for mustard man and the onesthat don't have mustard are cut right inhalf so even if they went in and justlooked at the baggies and if they sawsandwich like this they know no mustardshitty it's like great that's mysandwich this is a manly mustardsandwich triangles are peanut butterwhat I have noticed over the years isthat when thawing these out put a napkininside the bag because of the lunch meatit creates a lot of moisture so but justa napkin in there when you take it outflop it in your lunch sack and you'regood to go you will not have a soggysandwichnot one bit if you like tomatoes andlettuce in your sandwiches and you'regonna have to take this out the nightbefore and let it thaw out in therefrigerator and then in the morning youcan add your lettuce and your crunchythings to it all right I'm gonna makesome more of these all right here's oursandwiches PB&Jham and those are going in the freezer[Music]thank you so much for joining me todayif you'd like to share your pictures onInstagram I would love to see whatyou're working on this
